      The time for celebration and gathering is about to begin. Prepare yourself to embrace the best of this year. Wish you a merry Christmas!

       The good people of Dekina Local Government, my fellow Dekinites, May the divine love of God descend into your home to make it a piece of heaven. This Christmas, I wish you find peace and prosperity in every spheres of your life.

      I want to use this opportunity to extend my profound appreciation and season's greeting to you all. As we celebrate this year's Christmas, one thing i request of you is to act moderately and in accordance with the real reason for the season.

      The reason for the season is Jesus Christ. He stands for love, forgiveness, sacrifice, selflessness and grace.

         He came to take us from the era of the law to grace. That should be our guiding principle as we celebrate.

       His arrival brought a lot of relief to mankind. That should teach us the act of gratitude to GOD ALMIGHTY who thought is wise to redeem mankind from the looming disaster that comes with the law.

It is pertinent to note that, as a people, the only thing that can bind us together is love. 
Let love lead...

       Back to the home front, Dekina is ours to salvage from collapse. We must as a matter of fact and urgency use this season to reflect on those things that will unite us rather than those that will destroy us.

  Dekina is not known for cowardise, thuggery, sycophancy and praise singing, but you will agree with me that those ills have penetrated some of us.
How did we get here? The answer is simple: We left morals, culture and identity to allow for those ills on Dekina space.
We allow those with no love for our land to force themselves on us as leaders.

     My fellow Dekinites, all hope is not lost. We must find our voice again by the special grace of God. 
Our local government area will rise again and shine with your support and prayers.
By the grace of God, we will work together to birth a new Dekina that works for all. 
    
   We must resist politics of bitterness, thuggery, praise singing and sycophancy. Politics must be issue based and free of violence. 
Those with guns are nothing but our collective enemies, resist them!

     To my wonderful youth of Dekina, i beg you to resist their guns and speak the truth to them. Whoever gives you gun to kill people is never a leader but a thief. Late Chief John Urah Ajibil did not encourage that in his time neither did Late Steven Makoji Achema. Those duo are the real hero. Their brand of politics is what we are bringing on board.

PROJECT JULIARO 4 DEKINA 2020 is your baby. Nurse it to maturity, as we are here to work with you all in an attempt to change the ugly narrative on the political turf.

*The History Of Dekina*

I Achimugu Julius Arome (aka Juliaro King) has decided to let the cat out of the bag, it's said that "a child who watches his hands cleans will eat with his elder's " so for this reason, the history of Dekina must be told for those who says I'm not an indigen of Dekina Local government.  Dekina was  the  capital  of  the  former  Bassa  province  when  the  protectorate  of Northern and Southern Nigeria were proclaimed in 1900. Local Government reforms   were   undertaken   in   December,   1968   which   reformed   the   native authorities  into Local Governments and divided the Igala Native Authority into three divisions of Idah, Dekina and Ankpa.
